Day 1

From Marrakech to Erg Lihoudi, through breathtaking scenery

Your grand adventure begins at 7:30 a.m. with pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. From there, we'll embark on a fascinating journey through the High Atlas Mountains, with stops to admire views that will leave you breathless. We will cross the Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass, known as the highest paved road in Africa.

We'll have lunch in the charming city of Ouarzazate, also known as the "Gateway to the Desert". Next, we'll continue our journey south, delving into the Lower Atlas Mountains. We will traverse the impressive Draa Valley, home to a lush palm grove, charming oasis and ancient Kasbahs. We'll arrive at Zagora, the last stronghold before the vast desert, and finally to the undulating dunes of Erg Lihoudi.

Here, a truly Moroccan experience awaits you: a sunset camel ride. You'll watch as the sky changes colors as the sun sets over the golden sand dunes. At the end of the day, we'll return to our desert camp, where a delicious dinner awaits you by a bonfire under the stars. You'll spend the night in a private tent, enjoying the serenity and beauty of the Moroccan desert.

Day 2

From Erg Lihoudi to Marrakech, through the magic of history

We'll wake up early, just in time to climb to the tops of the dunes and witness a spectacle that will take your breath away: the desert sunrise. As the first rays of the sun bathe the dunes in a golden glow, you'll feel the magic of the desert's vastness.

After breakfast at our camp, we'll start our journey towards the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This imposing adobe castle, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is an impressive testament to Morocco's rich history. Walk through its winding alleys, admire the intricate mud and straw architecture, and feel how history comes alive.

Once we've enjoyed a delicious lunch, our journey will take us through the fascinating Ounila Valley to the Kasbah Telouet. This lesser-known gem, hidden amongst the High Atlas Mountains, is a marvel that will astonish you with its ancient grandeur and stunning decoration.
