Day 1

Marrakech to Dades Valley

Your journey begins with an early pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8 in the morning. Imagine crossing the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, the highest pass in Africa. The excitement builds as you approach 2260 m/7500 feet, with panoramic views of Berber villages and majestic landscapes. There will be time to stop, breathe the fresh mountain air, and take unforgettable photos.

The journey continues through the Ounila Valley, a picturesque route that leads you to the Kasbah of Telouet, a vestige of Morocco's powerful legacy. The Ounila Valley and the Kasbah invite you to immerse yourself in unique history and architecture.

Next awaits Ait Ben Haddou, a mud-brick castle declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will enjoy lunch and explore the site that has been the backdrop for countless famous films. The magic of this place will envelop you, transporting you to a different time and space.

Then, it's time to head to Ouarzazate, the Moroccan Hollywood city, famous for the movies that have been filmed there. If you wish, you can explore the Film Studios and discover the behind-the-scenes secrets (optional visit).

Your day will culminate with a serene trip to the Dades Valley through the Valley of Roses and the evocative "road of a thousand Kasbahs." The beauty and serenity of these places will provide moments of peace and reflection.

Day 2

Dades Valley to Zagora

Start your day with a revitalizing breakfast before embarking on a journey filled with astonishing landscapes and unique experiences. Climb to the top of the Dades Valley and be enveloped by the magnificent view that combines the winding valley and the imposing Gorge mountain.

You will continue your journey to the Todra Valley, passing through Tinghir, a place where rocky canyons merge with enormous palm trees in a natural dance of contrasts. Here you will have the opportunity to explore the famous Todra Mountain Gorge, a natural wonder that rises 400 meters (1312 feet) into the sky and offers a unique trail for walking and feeling the grandiosity of the place.

The night welcomes you in the Palmeral at a guesthouse, on a half-board basis, where you can rest and dream of the next day's adventures on this unforgettable journey through Morocco.

Day 3

Zagora to Erg Chigaga Sahara Desert

The third day on this unforgettable excursion invites you to immerse yourself in a world full of history, culture, and adventure. After enjoying breakfast, embark on a serene walk through the palm groves and oases of Zagora. The Kasbah of Amzerou, located in the Jewish quarter, awaits you with its mysteries and charms.

The day continues in Tamegroute, a 16th-century village, where you can learn about rich Moroccan tradition. We will visit the Koranic school and its invaluable library, explore the astonishing underground Kasbah, and admire the art of green pottery makers. Day in Erg Chigaga Sahara Desert

The fourth day of your adventure in the Moroccan desert promises to be an unforgettable and deeply moving experience. You will start with the stunning spectacle of sunrise from the top of the Erg Chigaga dunes. The first lights of the day will reveal the sublime contrast between the color of the sand and the clear sky, creating a landscape that will be etched in your memory.

After savoring breakfast under the vast desert sky, your camels will be ready to take you on a unique journey through the Erg Chigaga dunes. For 2 hours, you will become part of the landscape, feeling the vastness and tranquility of the desert.

Upon arrival at the Tamares tree, your guide will prepare an authentic lunch in nomadic style. Kebabs and freshly baked bread in the sand will be cooked before your eyes, giving you a truly local taste. Day 5

Erg Chigaga to Marrakech

After enjoying one last breakfast in the dunes, you will head northwest to Foum-Zguid in an all-terrain vehicle. This 3-hour stretch will take you through settings that seem out of this world.

The first stop will be at Lake Iriqui, an enigmatic dry lake that will surprise you with its austere and mysterious beauty. The next stop will take you on a journey back in time, exploring the fossil sites that tell the geological story of the region. As you drive along the mountain ridges of Jebel Bani and the acacia groves, the diversity of Moroccan nature will continue to fascinate you.

A break in Foum-Zguid will offer you a moment of relaxation before continuing on to Taznakht. Here, you will stop for lunch and have the unique opportunity to visit a cooperative of women carpet weavers, discovering the artisanal traditions for which Taznakht is famous.

The excursion from Marrakech to the desert will conclude around 6:00 p.m., taking you back to your accommodation and marking the end of this unforgettable tour.
