Day 1

Zagora - Tamegroute - Mhamid - Erg Chigaga Dunes

Our journey begins in Zagora, from where we will head to M'hamid, with a stop in the historic village of Tamegroute. There, we will step back in time visiting the Quranic school, its library, the enigmatic underground Kasbah, and discovering the secrets of the green potters. Our journey continues through the Draa Valley, where we will enjoy stunning panoramas over the sand dunes and the beautiful Kasbah.

After lunch in Mhamid, we will delve into the heart of the desert, driving through spectacular landscapes until we reach Erg Chigaga, the largest sand dunes in the region. There, an unforgettable experience awaits you: a camel ride during sunset, a visual spectacle where the red of the sky merges with the sand.

Finally, we will reach our desert camp, where a magical evening awaits us by the warmth of a bonfire, with Berber music and dinner under the stars.

Day 2

Erg Chigaga - Foum Zguid - Zagora

We will start the day with the magnificent spectacle of the sunrise from the top of the dunes, where the hues of the sun contrast wonderfully with the sand. After breakfast, we will set off for Foum Zguid, traversing an impressive landscape of dunes and dry lakes like Lake Iriqui.

We will make a stop to visit a nomadic family and share a tea before continuing to the fossil deposits. We will travel through the imposing mountains of Jebel Bani, dotted with acacias, and after lunch in Foum Zguid, we will start our journey back to Zagora, where we will arrive around 16:00.
