Day 1

Zagora - Mhamid - Erg Chigaga Desert

Depart Zagora around 13:00 and drive toward M’Hamid village Leave the tarmac road and follow off-road tracks, stone paths, and sand dunes for approximately 2 hours. Stop along the way to see ostriches in the desert, a unique and memorable sight.

Arrive at Erg Chigaga, the largest dunes in the region, in time for sunset. Switch from your 4x4 to explore the dunes and capture stunning photos as the sand turns red under the evening sky.

Check in at your Desert Camp (choose between Standard or Deluxe – see Camp Options below), enjoy dinner, and experience a campfire with Berber drumming and music. Overnight in your private tent.

Day 2

Camel Trekking, Sandbording & Quad Bike Adventure

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, perfect for photography. After breakfast, embark on a camel trek around Erg Chigaga sand dunes.

During the 2-hour trek, stop at aTamares tree location. where lunch is prepared in traditional nomad style. After lunch, a 4x4 will pick you up and drive to visit anoasis and a Nomad family, enjoy tea, and learn desert life and culture.

Return to the main desert camp in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the sunset over the dunes, followed by dinner and evening entertainment with Berber music and drum performances.

Optional Activity: Guests can enjoy a quad bike ride on the dunes in the afternoon. This is an extra activity not included in the tour price and can be arranged on request.

Note: This full-day Sahara adventure can be done by camel, 4x4, or a combination depending on your preference.

Day 3 private bathrooms.

Erg Chigaga to Zagora

Wake up early for the sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast. Depart Erg Chigaga for Zagora, driving through the Draa Valley.

Optional Stop: Guests can visit Tamegroute to see the historic Quranic library before continuing back to Zagora.

The tour concludes around 12:00 noon at your hotel or riad in Zagora.
